Episode 2: Laundry Landslide
2024-02-10
We've all been there. Life gets busy, the laundry basket overflows, and before you know it, there's a second basket, then a third, and somehow a pile has migrated from the bedroom to the landing and is now threatening to reach the front door.
The Sharma family from Hillsborough arrived on a Saturday morning with the contents of what they estimated was "about three weeks" of laundry. Four large bags, two duvets, a selection of school uniforms and a football kit that had clearly seen better days.
Now, at Laundreams we don't judge. We sort.
We divided everything by colour and fabric, pre-treated the worst offenders (the football kit in particular had a lot to answer for), and set about running load after load through our professional machines. By the end of the day, everything was washed, dried and folded β the duvets fluffy, the uniforms pressed, and even the football kit looking presentable.
Mr. Sharma called it "miraculous." We call it Monday.
If you've let things pile up, don't stress. Bring it all in. We'll sort it out.
